Prepare for Life, Plan for the Future.

WHAT IS YOUR FINANCIAL IQ?

We’re already in the final week of this year’s Life Insurance Awareness Month (LIAM). Have you taken any steps to secure your financial future? Don’t be caught off guard! Take the FIQ QUIZ to check how financially resilient you are.

Financial literacy is not a requirement in most schools and colleges, however, the wealthy have access to financial experts and wealth managers who can plan and financially protect their families, so they are secure and can sustain their legacies.

According to the leader of crowdfunding sites, there are 125,000 memorial campaigns per year! That’s $400 million raised every year. GoFundMe is NOT Life Insurance. The website is useful for crowdfunding for projects, inventions, etc., but the average person uses it as a source for emergencies and burial expenses instead of planning ahead and leveraging many benefits and savings components of a life insurance plan.

Real estate and life insurance are the two building blocks of wealth that appreciate with time. We underestimate the advantages of a properly structured insurance policy. I realized this when I signed my policy that ensured a solid financial foundation for my son, thus making certain that the next generation will be better off than mine.

Q: How do you create an IMMEDIATE estate worth hundreds of thousands?  A: With your FIRST premium check.

Everyone should still save the traditional way – For example, $100 saved monthly for 15 years becomes approx. $123,520.40 (The principal is $36,100, BUT $87,420.40 is the interest at a 7% rate) Play with numbers on an online compound interest calculator and be amazed at the power of compound interest! With your first insurance premium check, you immediately create an estate that secures six or seven figures for emergencies or an unexpected loss. Now, you can sit back and maintain it. It’s all about the proper structure and planning, and I can help. One of the first questions we ask when tragedy strikes is – Did they have insurance? That means we know what is necessary but don’t get around to it. Regular folks think they can’t afford to insure their lives and families but turn around and insure everything else – homes, pets, phones, cars, and even household appliances! This is clearly an issue of priorities.

As you sleep tonight, ask yourself this question: Would your family be financially okay if the breadwinner died, experienced an unexpected loss of income, or had a major health crisis?

What would happen to your mortgage? Would cars be repossessed? Would you drain your savings or need to break your 401k/retirement accounts?

Even if you are single, do you have debt? Do your parents depend on you?

Do you have a child with special needs or aging parents? Are you counting on the government, Medicare, or Social Security to take care of you and your loved ones?

What about living benefits? Life policies can be accessed for cash value and unexpected expenses while you are alive and well. Learn how to become your own banker like the 1% do.

At the very least, plan for your final expenses; do not become a burden to anyone or make your family beg on GoFundMe. Don’t leave your family at the mercy of the probate court. If Government Agencies and Fortune 500 Companies like Meta – Facebook, Tesla, Starbucks, etc. have Final benefit plans as options for their employees, every employer and everyone should have a plan in place for the inevitable. Get your Wills, Trusts, and Advance Directives in place. Younger people have the advantage of age to lock in excellent rates while still healthy and can watch those funds grow with decades of compounding interest. Curious and wondering how this even works?
