Embrace the New Year: A Fresh Start to Success

A Fresh Start – Get Set, Ready, Go!

Doesn’t the new year feel like a refreshing ocean breeze in your soul? These unused 365 days stretch out with open arms, and we pop champagne to celebrate, blow up fireworks to hail its arrival, or pray into its embrace full of hope and excitement. It’s unlike every other next day, even though this year it’s just Thursday, and we will be going to work as usual. God created times and seasons in His infinite wisdom because He knows us well. We like new so much we have songs about new love, cars, experiences, and even a scent called new car smell. Like everyone reading this, I love a fresh start, a do-over, a wipe-the-slate-clean opportunity to make the best of the world’s most expensive commodity – time.

The new year is our cue to tee up for our next level. In this multi-faceted technological era, we can easily supercharge time management with compounding. That means creating avenues to deploy systems and assets in the marketplace to multiply time. Does anyone out there still have one – numero uno – source of income? Friends, that’s literally sacrilegious at this point. We all have the same 24-hour clock that ticks on without allegiance to economic class, race, gender, geographical location, and skill set, so it’s astute to set up systems with minimal input, automate income streams, and manipulate time to your advantage. “Get action,” as Teddy Roosevelt would say, then let momentum and time ensure this new year is your best.

How do we start? We create the atmosphere for success by starting with our energies and the unseen. Everything we see was first created by thoughts and imagination. So, align your hearts, minds, and words with a vision for a fantastic year. Take stock of your innate resources, and pray for insight, directions, and creative ideas. The Bible says, In the beginning, God created… (Gen 1:1). Psalms 33:9 says, “For when He spoke, the world began. It appeared at His command.” We start with God, engage resources to cultivate a winning mindset, declare positive outcomes, and allow time to multiply and compound the results. This approach does not negate applying sensible steps like due diligence in reviewing your niche, platforms, contracts, and agreements, reading reviews, and avoiding pressure tactics by “experts” and get-rich-quick-schemes. My prayer for you is that, as you set yourself up afresh for this new year, you will hear a clear word saying, “This is the way; walk in it…” (Isaiah 30:14)

Prayer: May the Lord establish you and bless the work of your hands to make a significant difference in your world. May He help you to discern the right actions. Like Jehovah Elohim, when you speak, may worlds and things be created for good. May you keep your eyes on your divine Helper. Receive discipline and the finishing anointing for all your projects. May this be a landmark year of accomplishments and new levels. The Lord is with you to help you, for He who starts new things is your strength, favor, and reward. Amen!
